2010 City of El Lago Election Information

Election Scheduled for May 8, 2010

The City of El Lago’s Municipal Election will be on Saturday, May 8th. Positions up for election are the City Council Positions III and IV and V, currently held by John Tully, Cody Taylor and Jeff Tave respectively. If you would like to file for office, candidate packets may be picked up at City Hall starting February 8th. Please note that the filing deadline to file for a place on the ballot is 5:00 p.m., March 8th.

2010 City of El Lago Election Dates and Deadlines

February 6 First day to file for a place on the ballot (City Hall not open until Feb. 8)
March 8 Last day for filing application on the ballot, 5:00 p.m. deadline
March 9 First day to accept regular applications for early voting ballots by mail
April 8 Last day for submitting voter registration application in time to vote at May 8th election
April 26 First day of early voting by personal appearance at City Hall, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 30 Last day to receive application by mail for a ballot vote by mail
May 4 Last day to vote early by personal appearance
May 8 Election Day - polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
