Elizabeth Frost Lenoir Park Bench Dedication
On Saturday, March 25, 2006, a park bench in
Witty Memorial Park was dedicated in honor of the late Elizabeth Frost
Lenoir, the City's mayor from 1979 to 1984. An anonymous donor gave
the bench to the city in her name. The pictures below were provided
by El Lago resident Al Ong and City Secretary Jill McCammon.

Ong and Amy Carr, and Samantha Lenoir listen to
Mayor Emel's dedication speech. |

The bench for Elizabeth Frost Lenoir was donated
anonymously, and is similar to the bench located
at Armstrong Park in Paul Raffetto's name. |

It was a lovely day for the dedication ceremony and
the turnout was something to be proud of. |
