Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a Harris County Citizen Corps sponsored series of classes designed to prepare you to help yourself, your family and your neighbors in the event of anticipated and potentially hazardous disruptions following a disaster.

Events Committee
The El Lago Events Committee is funded by the city and comprised of volunteers who coordinate and plan various free events for the citizens of El Lago. Our annual events typically include the Polar Plunge, Easter Egg Hunt, City Celebration, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween Party, and Caroling in the Park.
